Pressure equipment

Weldadvice has many years of experience in the calculation of pressure vessels and other types of pressure equipment according to european standards EN 13445- , EN 13480- as well as after ASME and AD-Merkblatter. With our calculation tools, we can perform these calculations at absolutely competitive prices.

Other calculation specifications

We can also offer calculations according to other specifications such as the specific set of rules of class companies, but in this situation will not be able to draw the same validated tools as for the standardised rules and will then have to resort to more manual methods. For this reason, we will not be able to offer these calculations at the same low prices.

Experimental testing

In certain situations, parts of a pressure vessel or of a pressure equipment may be designed in a way that cannot be calculated in accordance with the conditions laid down in the terms of the press.  e.g. the normal calculation section of EN 13445-3 and in such cases a blasting test may be carried out in which a representative design is pressed up in pressure until blasting. The maximum pressure load of the design shall then be calculated on the result of this experimental test. Contact we if you need assistance with the construction of the test piece, presence and calculation of the computational permissible result so that together we can ensure that your test leads to a permissible maximum pressure that meets your needs.

FEM (Finite Element Method)

We offer FEM calculation as another possibility to calculate structures that are difficult to calculate sufficiently precisely according to the empirical formulas of the standards. FIVE calculation can also be used as a supplement to calculations according to standards in cases where, for example, you want fatigue conditions to be better clarified or where it is not possible to fully comply with the design conditions.
