Weldadvice, European Welding Consultancy I/S

Weldadvice I/S is an engineering, inspection and certification company with core competencies in welding and materials. Weldadvice is a member of fri (Association of Consulting Engineers) and DI (Danish Industry).

Weldadvice is accredited by DANAK for personal certification under DS/EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012 and therefore performs accredited welding certification under approval number 3008. In addition, Weldadvice I/S is also accredited by DANAK To welding procedure test in accordance with DS/EN ISO 15612, 15613, 15614-1, 15641-2, 15614-3, 15614-4, 15614-5, 15614-6, 15614-7, 15614-8, 15614-11, and 15614-12 under approval number 9125. We also handle approval of pressure equipment under the same approval number and in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.

Accreditation area under DANAK:

  • Certification of persons' professional qualifications in the field of melting welding
  • Approval of personnel to carry out final joints of pressure equipment under BEK 190/2015 (PED 2014/68/EU Annex I-3.1.2)
  • Manufacturing inspections, installation inspections, and periodic inspections of pressure equipment and assemblies in accordance with Module A2 and BEK 498/2024

DANAK accredited welding certification takes place in the internal certification body "Weldadvice CERT".

Weldadvice I/S is a recognised third-party organisation PED Art. 20 under the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU.

Weldadvice also handles projects in the offshore, oil and gas, construction, and wind turbine industries, as well as for suppliers to these sectors, suppliers to the pharmaceutical industry, dairies and slaughterhouses, equipment suppliers to the refrigeration and freezing industry, the aviation sector, and more. In short, anywhere where welding and materials technology are essential components of the finished product and where knowledge, compliance with specific requirements, and a high level of expertise are required.

Weldadvice I/S has previously had offices in Sweden and the United States and possesses extensive experience and expertise in carrying out projects worldwide, including in Europe, the United States, APAC, Africa, etc. Weldadvice I/S now primarily undertakes projects in Denmark.
